Flirtomatic, a mobile and online flirting service, released its alpha version of Flirtomatic. The alpha version can be obtained worldwide and has an enriched mobile interface, built specifically for the users of iPhone and iTouch.

Flirtomatic announced that it currently has over 800,000 registered users and almost 400,000 mobile users in the UK. The company said it is the only service in the UK to have optimised features for the iPhone, such as registration, login, chat, search, rating and the ability to send and receive gifts. The company stated, that as a major step in the service's development, the alpha version will increase its potential user base and enhance the user interface.

Flirtomatic, the first branded consumer service of Handmade Mobile Ltd, anticipates further custom for its service by iPhone users, with the expected launch of the 3G iPhone.

The company has received venture funding from Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures and Seraphim Capital.
